Wedding Sneak Peek

Hello my loves! I wanted to share with you some pictures from the sneak peek our photographer gave us! Our wedding day was amazing! I'm so excited to share it with you! But more about that when I have more pictures to share. Consider this a tease, I guess!

Shout out to our wonderful photographers Ector and Kristina at 33 and a Third Wedding Photography! They're located in Orlando, FL, but they will travel. I highly recommend them! You couldn't meet two nicer people, seriously. They were so kind and patient with me. :)

Marvelous Mondays: Inspired by Each Other

Happy Marvelous Monday! We're finally getting back into the swing of things around here, and I was really excited about this week's theme.

If you're new to the blog, here's the idea behind Marvelous Monday:
"Our philosophy: Monday is nobody’s favorite day of the week, but maybe its terrible reputation is a little undeserved. We’re on a mission to make ours (and hopefully yours) a little less awful by dressing marvelously!"

This week the theme was "inspired by each other." We drew names out of a hat and were paired up with someone else from the challenge to model a look after. I got Cheri, which I was super excited about! She wears a lot of jewel tones, animal prints, and some killer wedges, so that's what I tried to focus on for this look.

Sequined Sack Dress

Hello loves! To those of you enjoying a day off of work today, hope it's the best! And those of you who are stuck working, I still hope it's the best! ;)

I normally wear this dress belted because of it's blocky sack shape, but today I decided that was exactly the look I was going for. I don't feel bound to constantly highlight my narrowest part, and it's definitely been liberating since I made that decision. I'm fat and I will be no matter what I wear, so I may as well wear whatever I want and get down with my bad self. And it's a blast!

Mellow Mint

Hey everyone! I hope you've had a great weekend. :) I'm off tomorrow so we've kept it pretty low-key here. Yesterday we ran a few errands around town and today we went to church and then had lunch with my in-laws. I feel a nap coming on, and it's glorious!

Honeymoonin' - Part 3

Happy Friday, lovelies! This is my last group of photos from our honeymoon. We spent our last day in Saint Augustine touring the Lightner Museum. It's a gigantic hotel that was built there during the Flagler-era in Florida. More info here for anyone interested!

Then we went for a swim in our hotels indoor pool, which was suprisingly frigid hahaha!

Honeymoonin' - Part 2

I'm so excited to share this swimsuit with you guys! We went to Anastasia Park for some oceanside fun. This isn't my first fatkini, but it is my favorite! :)

Honeymoonin' - Part 1

Hello, loves! It has been way too long, but I'm finally back! Our wedding was fantastic, and I have a TON of pictures from our honeymoon in St. Augustine, FL to share with you all. I've decided to try and split them up by each day we were there.

We stayed at a neat little inn that was built in 1914. It sits directly across from the Matanzas Bay. They served breakfast on the veranda every morning, so we got to watch the sailboats in the water while we ate. From there we went to tour the old Spanish fort, Castillo de San Marcos. Construction on the fort began in 1672. There's more information on the fort here if you're a geek like me!

Then in the afternoon we went to swim! Florida has a lot of natural springs. :) This one is called Salt Springs because of its brackish water.

Happy Marvelous Monday! I had very high aspirations for this week's challenge, but it just didn't pan out. Things have been CRAZY with all the last minute wedding things that still need to be taken care of. I don't think I'll have time for much posting until we get back from our honeymoon. But the big day is this Saturday! YAY!
