Chartreuse and Autumn Wishes

I never thought I'd actually say this, but I am SO ready for Fall. I love warm weather, but enough is enough! After driving to the post office for the third time this week with no a/c in my car, I am totally over this hot weather. This outfit was certainly wishful thinking on my part. I'm so ready for long sleeves, boots, and hot chocolate. But even this lightweight blouse was a little much for 80 degrees fahrenheit.

I'm not sorry though, because I'm in love with this top! It's such a gorgeous chartreuse color. Which is probably a little over the top considering I have coral hair. But HEY! Go big or go home.

I'm staying super busy lately. My hubby has been having some minor medical issues, so I've been scrambling around trying to take care of everything at home. Hopefully he'll be better soon.

Mental health wise, things have been really good! When you have anxiety, you can go for quite a while without an incident. I still get nervous in certain situations because I've learned to associate them with panic symptoms. But all in all I'd say things are going excellently right now.

So how are you guys? Is the weather cooling off in your part of the world?

  3. Where I live the weather can get a bit crazy at times! Last week we had snowfall so heavy that it massacred a ton of trees (for example, ripping entire boughs off, splitting some trees down the middle...the city is still cleaning up that mess), and now today it's 75F, which is our summer typical summer temp. I'm a big fan of winter, so I'm looking forward to the point when the snow will stick around.

    1. Wow, that's crazy!! I'm from Florida so I'm not really used to transient weather, haha. It's pretty temperate down there... y'know, excluding the occasional hurricane.
