Hey loves! Sorry for the absence. I had a great time with visiting family during the week of Thanksgiving. And my cousin is actually still here! She snapped these photos for me. :D
This is what I wore today. I love the little fox!
fox sweater, old navy. skinnies, jessica simpson c/o marshalls. boots, kmart. stripey earrings you can barely see, local shop in helen, ga.
Here's what I wore today! This isn't the most "flattering" outfit, but I'm getting the point in my acceptance of myself and my body that I don't care as much about hiding what some people might consider flaws. What I have is beautiful and a gift and it's meant to be celebrated! Life is too short and tough to push off loving yourself until you reach some vague goal in the undetermined future. Love yourself now! I do! :)
sweater, f21+. red skinnies, dots. embellished flats, ross.
Today was kind of a bittersweet day for me. Veterans Day (today) falls on the same date as my grandfather's birthday. He was a WWII veteran so it's always been a very special day for us as a family. But my grandfather passed away last year, and it's been very difficult for me to deal with. We were very close and he had a large part in my upbringing. I tried very hard to remember all the funny, wonderful things about him, but it's tough not to get at least a little sad about it.
Sorry these came out so grainy... the time change is really throwing me off my game. On nights I get home before dark I have approximately five minutes to snap these before the sun sets, so the light's a little low. :)
Today is the last day of our mini-break. :( We're both sad to go since this is such a lovely place, but my lovely BFF was sweet enough to snap a few more shots of me trying not to fall in the river. Haha!
scarf, local shop in helen, ga. earrings, same local shop. denim button-up, old navy c/o thrifting. green skinnies, lys c/o kmart. studded oxfords, marshalls.
Hey babes! I'm writing you from my little mini-vacation with my BFF. Currently I'm sitting next to the rushing Chattahoochee, enjoying the morning sun and the crisp chill in the air. Ahhhh... :)
