Ikat and White

Hey there, lovelies! PHEW. So, the reason I went a little MIA there is because I started having some major anxiety issues again. I was having some panic attacks and I really had to just take things easy until my doctor could see me. Fortunately he was able to fit me in, and we did a little tinkering with my dosage. So far so good. I think maybe it was triggered by my recent interest in exercising so much. Supposedly that can trigger panic attacks in people who have anxiety. To me that's a little ironic since I've always heard that excercise is sooo beneficial to your mental health. Not for me, haha! Now that my dosage has been upped I'm slowly starting to incorporate exercise back in.









So these photos are actually from a couple weeks ago, before all that unpleasantness. It's already too hot for long sleeves here, if you can believe it. But at the time, this breezy blouse was just the right amount of coverage and lightweight fabric for that bizarre in between weather. Also, I love that little cutout on the back, but I could NOT get that little flap of fabric on the inside to quit sticking up. I guess I'll put a little stitch in there to hold it down.







I know there's some rule about what part of the year you're "supposed" to wear white pants, but honestly I don't even know what it is. I am so disinterested in any kind of fashion "rules," it's ridiculous! I do what I want. ;)









Anywho, things are getting back to normal around here, so yay! Hope all of you are doing fabulously as well.

Maxi Dress with Sheer Panel

I'm having an excellent hair day today, so naturally everything else is coming up roses! :D Haha! Tomorrow is our first wedding anniversary-- can you believe it?! It really doesn't feel like it's been a whole year since the day we tied the knot. It's been a wonderful year full of ups and downs and lots of changes. I am so much happier and feeling very blessed and just so, so happy. Seriously!

I cannot even put into words how much I love this dress. Obviously I'm a huge fan of stripes, and on top of that I'm really digging the sheer block at the bottom of the hem. It's like a sexy little peek at my pins. ;)

Cut-Outs and Scallops

Hello, lovelies! Long time no see!! Time kind of got away from there, but I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. Loving the warm weather here-- I love Summer so much. Crochet, Dots, and Frills

Hello! I finally got some much needed relaxation time today, which was wonderful. It's super hot outside already, and it's only April. I can't wait until the pools start to open! I need to get my swim and sun on.

I am in love with these frilly, silly shorts. They sold out on F21's website really, really quickly. I'm super happy that I managed to snatch up a pair before that happened! They're comfortable and downright cute. I feel like Little Bo Peep in them. :D

Sunshine and Chevron

It's amazing outside today! When I stepped out to take these photos I had to hunt down a mildly shady spot because there is literally bright yellow sunshine EVERYWHERE. This makes me happy. It's still a little chilly, but it feels like Spring is just around the corner. :)

springing forward

Apparently I'm obsessed with cognac brown this Spring. The pinnacle of my obsession are these new sandal flats Old Navy has (see here!) that I really really want.

I've put together a few polyvores of some stuff I'd like to rock in the near future when it's warm again. You'll notice a lot of repeating items because I am, above all, a frugalista as well as a fatshionista.
