Green Jeans

Not much to say about this one! We had a nice, lazy Sunday. We squeezed in some shopping and then the wind started blowing in some much cooler temperatures. This top is something I scored whilst thrifting. I love the little bow-pocket detail, and the fabric is the perfect weight.

Cold Shoulder

Sorry these photos came out a little blurry! It was dark outside by the time I could snap them, and these were the best I could do without using flash-- which let's all concede makes photos look pretty terrible.

Working Title

Here's what I wore to work today. I had an important meeting so I skipped casual dress this week. I'm glad I did-- something about dressing like a legit businesslady makes me savvier, I swear. ;)

On Target

So this is kind of a quick no muss/no fuss post, featuring pics a la Target's dressing rooms. :)

Here's what I wore to work today!

I tried on a few things I didn't end up purchasing. This little mint button-up was cute, but it was a smidge too tight for my taste. And the back was weirdly sheer and cut funny.







I LOVED this dress, but it was too tight in the chest area. I can generally fit into Target's straight-sized XXL dresses and tops if they're a teeny bit stretchy or have smocking, but this was lined chiffon and had no give at all.

Homebody

Here's what I'm wearing today. Nothing too great, but I'm not feeling the best so I'm mostly just hanging around my apartment today. :) I guess sunny Sundays are the best days to relax at home. I'm trying to figure out the best way to take indoor pictures with my new camera, seeing as it's going to be cold soon and I probably won't want to hang around outside more than I have to! I am definitely not a cold weather person. It's the Floridian in me.

On the Mountain Trail

I had SUCH a great day today! My bestie and I took a day trip up the Blue Ridge Parkway. For those of you who aren't from here on the East Coast, the Blue Ridge Parkway is a gorgeous winding road that takes you right up the Appalachian mountains. I'm fortunate to live in the foothills of said mountains, and it's nice to skip out of town every once in a while and just enjoy the beauty of it.

Nothing Special

I earned a casual dress day at work today which meant I got to wear jeans. They prefer we don't wear skinny jeans to the workplace, so I have a scant few pairs that are more bootcut. I don't feel like this outfit is anything spectacular or groundbreaking, but I guess it's important to share those looks too. :)

Mint Pants

Here's what I'm wearing today! I got these mint colored skinnies from F21 online. I ordered a size down from normal, so I was worried the waist might be too tight, but they fit like a gem! There aren't any F21 stores near where I live (let alone any that carry F21+) so all my F21 stuff is either purchased online, or from time spent in other states.

It's Friday!

This is what I wore to work today. I don't wear as much makeup on weekdays as I do during the weekend. Mainly because I like to sleep until the last possible second before I have to run out the door. ;D I wear at least foundation (with finishing powder) every day, at minimum, and usually a bit of mascara.

I actually wore this outfit with my cognac brown boots, but I twisted my ankle a couple days ago so when I got home I kicked them off and opted for flats. My beau took me to dinner and a teeny bit of shopping.
