On the Mountain Trail

I had SUCH a great day today! My bestie and I took a day trip up the Blue Ridge Parkway. For those of you who aren't from here on the East Coast, the Blue Ridge Parkway is a gorgeous winding road that takes you right up the Appalachian mountains. I'm fortunate to live in the foothills of said mountains, and it's nice to skip out of town every once in a while and just enjoy the beauty of it.
